History

1853: Since then pasta is produced in Spaichingen. Everything started with Anton Peter who realized his dream of an own pasta factory which is called "Peter Nudeln".

1937: The company is given to the next generation, to Max Seeburger and Eugen Schwärzer. They develop the factory more and more.

1978: Franz-Anton Seeburger takes the factory over from his father Max Seeburger. He is working in the company until today.

1981: They start to deliver pasta from production to customers with the first own truck. 

1989: The attempt on the record for the longest handmade broad pasta is unfortunately not successful.

1990: "Peter Nudeln" merges with another German pasta company and they turn to "Spaichinger Nudelmacher."

1991: The production place is settled to the place in Spaichingen where it is located until today. From a technological point of view Spaichinger Nudelmacher is now one of the most modern pasta companies in Europe.

1995: Takeover of the company "Seitz" which is trading with spices and herbs. These products are slowly included in the assortment of Spaichinger Nudelmacher. Since 2010 the whole company was called "Seitz GmbH".

2011: New machinery with a heat recovery system is taken into operation. Seitz is the first company worldwide who applies this technology from "Bühler" which is called Eco thermatikTM .

2012: The ALB-GOLD Group takes over the Seitz GmbH. ALB-GOLD has one factory in Trochtelfingen on the Swabian Alb and one in Riesa, Saxony.  Since this takeover the strategy is realigned and focuses more on their brand portfolio.

2014: The company gets back their well-known name "Spaichinger Nudelmacher". To separate gluten free products, the new company "Seitz glutenfrei GmbH" is established. 

2016: A new warehouse and logistics center is built and opened for one day to the public.
